Outside body

Responsibilities:

The Executive meets 3 times per annum and members of the Executive are responsible for driving the Work Programme supported by the CCN Officer Team.

In addition, both Council and Executive representatives shall seek to influence policy at the national level through questioning of Ministers and other significant policy influencers at CCN meetings or bespoke meetings arranged by the CCN team.

Membership:

Each County Council in membership of the County Councils Network shall nominate four representatives to the CCN Council.  The Leader is automatically nominated to the CCN Executive.

Note: Cllr. Philip Atkins OBE is the Conservative Vice Chairman of CCN, a member of the Management Committee and Spokesman for Housing, Planning and Infrastructure.
