Cabinet were notified of risks/outcomes
associated with services commissioned by Public Health
(drugs/alcohol, sexual health and healthy lifestyles) in July
2021.
Consultation on the future of sexual health services was undertaken
alongside SoT and T&W councils prior to writing the service
specification:

SoT and T&W also ran consultation with their partners March to
June 21
SCC completed our needs assessment in June 2021 and included the
following:
- Population needs
- Key sexual health data on local demographics and prevalence,
including implications on commissioning intentions
- Service demand, including the impact of the covid-19 pandemic
through the lens of stakeholders and service users
- Key findings of consultation exercises
This informed the service specification and was available to
potential bidders during the tender process. Feedback was gained on
the draft service specification before it was finalised.
