Firstly the green spaces in the Doxey area are home to a variety
of wildlife which are aready experiencing a strain on habitat
locally, by preventing development on these spaces these creatures
will be able to thrive.
Secondly, the local green spaces are very beneficial for local
people. They allow for individuals to be able to 'get in touch with
nature's in an already ever changing world. Especially in the area
new the play park and rugby pitch, many people walk dogs and enjoy
being outdoors in this area especially now so much effort has been
put in to ensure it's appeal. This is an encouragement to physical
fitness and mental well-being!
Finally, there are many opportunities for building in and around
Staffordshire with already suitable resources rather than
destroying green spaces which are so vital to both nature and
humans.
