RESOLVED – That the minutes of the meeting held on 17 March 2017 be confirmed and signed by the chairman.

·         Pensions Committee – Minutes of the meeting held on 16 June 2017(including the minutes of the meeting of the Pensions Panel held on 6 June 2017)

·         Pensions Committee –Meeting held on 7 July 2017.

There were no matters arising on this occasion.

Pensions Board Annual Report 2016/17 pdf icon PDF 300 KB

Minutes:

The Board discussed the Pensions Board Annual Report 2016/17. The Board expressed a concern about attendance statistics of one of their members and undertook to keep this under review.

 

Christina Washington indicated that she had submitted apologies to the Board meeting on 17 March 2017 and had requested that the table in the report is to be updated accordingly.

 

The Board agreed that within the report, under the heading “Matters Reported to the Board” in the second sentence the word “small” to be deleted.

 

The Board agreed that the expenses of £1095.95 to be included in the report

 

RESOLVED – That, subject to the amendments detailed above, the report be approved.

It was noted that there was to be a joint Pensions Committee and Pensions Board Training Day scheduled for Friday, 14 July 2017 commencing at 10:00am.
