Minutes:

The Board were informed that there have been several expressions of interest for the vacancies on the Pensions Board and they will meet with the Chairman and Melanie Stokes, Head of Treasury & Pensions on 19 July 2019. It was also reported that Cllr Gordon Alcott has been reappointed to the Pensions Board as the elected local authority representative for a further four years.

 

RESOLVED – That the minutes of the meeting held on 15 March 2019 be confirmed and signed by the Chairman.

Minutes:

The Board were informed that the Pensions Committee had requested that the Board continue to undertake light touch scrutiny of the Fund’s Risk Register.

 

RESOLVED – That the Pensions Board continue to undertake light touch scrutiny of the Fund’s Risk Register.

Minutes:

The Board were presented with the Draft Pensions Board Annual Report 2018/19 for comments and approval.

 

RESOLVED – That the Pensions Board Annual Report be approved.

Dates of Future Meetings

·         12 July 2019 (Joint training with the Pensions Committee)

·         27 September 2019

·         8 November 2019 (Joint training with the Pensions Committee)

·         17 December 2019

·         27 March 2020

Minutes:

The dates of the future meetings were highlighted to the Board. The Board requested early sight of the meeting dates for the next financial year, even if these were provisional.

 

The Chairman explained that he would not be available for the December meeting.

 

RESOLVED – That (a) the dates of the future meetings be noted.

 

(b) an indication of meeting dates for 2020/21 be provided and sent to the Pensions Board.
