Minutes:

Arising thereon:-

The County Council’s Head of Legal Services updated Members on the progress being made in relation to the compilation of an audit of all the trusts and charities the Committee was responsible for and the review of each one to determine whether it fulfilled its objectives.  She indicated that this work was nearing completion and would be submitted to the Committee for their consideration in due course.  This would then enable the Committee to formulate a work programme.  She added that several officers would play a role in supporting the Committee including Anna Halliday (for education related matters); Stuart Lane (for property issues); and Paul Dalton (for legal advice).  An officer was still to be identified to support the Committee in relation to Social Care (comfort fund) issues.  The Member and Democratic Services Team would continue to manage the Committee’s meetings and would also ensure that, as required by the Constitution, an annual report of the Committee’s decisions was submitted the Full Council for their consideration.

RESOLVED - That the minutes of the meeting held on 5 February 2015 be confirmed and signed by the Chairman.
