Report of the Chief Executive

Minutes:

(Exemption paragraph 1) 

 

The Special Committee considered a report of the Chief Executive seeking approval to the current temporary arrangements of the Communities portfolio residing in the Directorate of Economy Infrastructure & Skills being made permanent; and to the commencement of the selection process to permanently recruit to the post of Assistant Director for Culture, Rural and Safer Communities.   

 

Resolved – (a) That the current temporary arrangements of the Communities portfolio residing in the Directorate of Economy, Infrastructure & Skills be made permanent. 

 

(b) That the commencement of the selection process to recruit to the post of Assistant Director for Culture, Rural and Safer Communities on a permanent basis be approved. 

 

(c) That the recruitment to the post set out in “(b)” above be ringfenced to one candidate, Catherine Mann, and that the appointment be made in accordance with Officer Employment Procedure Rule set out in the Council’s Constitution.
