RESOLVED – That the minutes of the meeting held on 2 October be confirmed and signed by the Chairman.

Approval was sought for the transfer of part of the land at the rear of Holmcroft Library to Stafford Borough Council to facilitate the development of sports and recreation facilities at the rear of the Library and adjacent open spaces.

RESOLVED – (a) That Staffordshire County Council transfers part of the land at the rear of Holmcroft Library to Stafford Borough Council for nominal consideration to facilitate the development of sports and recreation facilities.

(b) That approval to the final terms of the sale and necessary agreements with the community library operator to facilitate this, be delegated to the Head of Commercial and Assets.

The Chairman to move:

The Sub-Committee considered a request for an amendment to the details of the purchaser of the Leek County Services Building from Benz Travel Limited to Fountain Street Developments Limited – one of its subsidiaries.  Details were given of the progress of the sale and the reasons for the change of purchaser name.

RESOLVED – That approval be given to the change of the name of the purchaser of the Leek County Services Building from Benz Travel Limited to Fountain Street Developments Limited.

The Sub Committee considered the disposal of its freehold interest in Newcastle Library to Newcastle Library Development LTD.

RESOLVED - That Staffordshire County Council disposes of its freehold interest in Newcastle Library to Newcastle Library Development Ltd.

Approval was sought for the sale of the land of the Former Flash Ley Resource Centre, Stafford to Absolute Care Homes (Central Limited).

RESOLVED – (a) That approval be given to the sale of the site of the Former Flash Ley Resource Centre, Stafford to Absolute Care Homes (Central) Limited.

(b) That approval to the final details of the transaction to be delegated to the Head of Commercial and Assets.
