Welcome to my web page.

As you can see my name is Kathleen Perry, or Kath for short. I was born and have lived in Great Wyrley all my life. I have served on Great Wyrley Parish Council and South Staffordshire District Council for 11 years and still continue to do so.  I am currently chairman of South Staffordshire District Council.

An active member of the community for a number of years and have served on a number of local and district bodies.

I was elected County Councillor in May 2005 to represent the residents of Cheslyn Hay, Essington and Great Wyrley this division also includes Featherstone, Shareshill, Hilton and Saredon. This is a dual member ward which I share with Mike Lawrence. We work well together and are always on the other end of the telephone or you can contact either of us by e-mail. 

As a member of Staffordshire County Council (SCC) I serve on the Health Scrutiny Committee. Further information of this committee and its work can be viewed by accessing Health Scrutiny Committee web pages

The County Council operates a Local Member Initiative Scheme (LMIS) where it allocates £10,000 to each member to spend in his/her community.  I am pleased to have supported the following schemes in this financial year:-

  • 1st Cheslyn Hay Boys' Brigade - £390
  • Featherstone 4 Seasons Festival - £1500
  • Great Wyrley Youth & Community - £850
