Delegated Power: On Wednesday 18 December 2019, a confidential report was taken to Cabinet regarding the future contract arrangements for the 14 Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) and the Household Waste Transfer station at Fowlchurch Road, Leek. Following the cabinet report and decision made on the 18 December 2019 the Deed of Termination with FCC and the initial contract documentation with Amey have now been finalised and discussed with the Leader and the Cabinet Member for Commercial on the 2 January 2020. In addition, a press statement has been agreed with FCC and Amey and has been formally signed off by the Cabinet Member for Commercial on the 3 January 2020. In view of the above this Executive Officer Delegated Decision formally records the decision to: a) Sign the Deed of Termination with FCC for the management of the HWRCs in Staffordshire. b) Enter into a short-term emergency contract with Amey for the management of the HWRCs in Staffordshire. c) Issue a jointly agreed pr
