Consultation process

As per the March 2018 Cabinet Paper, the following parties were consulted:

1. Residents and relatives of Hawthorn house (one of the impacted sites);
2. SCC officers and employees;
3. Lichfield District Council;
4. Elected members;
5. Progress Housing (and associated partners);
6. Lichfield Residents.

Delegated Power: As per March 2018 Cabinet Recommendations: • SCC enters into negotiations with PCHA in respect of the costs incurred by themselves in the programme thus far, in addition to the aforementioned survey costs, (including obtaining planning permission for residential development on both sites), as a good will gesture and to obtain the assignment of all relevant documents commissioned to obtain the planning permission so SCC can benefit from them, as appropriate / if required; • The decision and final settlement of reasonable costs (as referred to above) is delegated to the Director of Health and Care, in consultation with the Director of Finance and Resources and the Director of Strategy, Governance and Change.
