ePetition details

Commit to maintain funding for all existing school crossing patrols in the county and to consider increasing these where a need exists for the next 5 years from 2019.

The County Council is considering reducing spending on school crossing patrols in the future to save £540,000 per annum. We do not think that a reliance on volunteers to deliver this service is appropriate and indicates that the County Council is putting a price on children's lives.
