Decision – That the oral report of the Leader of the Council giving an update on a range of issues including the investment of an additional £5m in highway maintenance in 2018/19; the recent visit to Staffordshire by new Children’s Minister, Nadhim Zahawi MP, to see the Council’s excellent work on promoting the Government’s 30 hours of funded childcare for parents of three and four-year-olds; just over 92.5 per cent of parents being been allocated their first preference school; the call for greater collaborative working between partners in the urgent delivery of more homes; and the requirement for all large employers to publish a report on their Gender Pay Gap, be noted.
