Holding No.2 Yarlet - Top Farm, Whitgreave, Stafford (exemption paragraph 3)

Minutes:

Details were submitted of responses received to the marketing of Holding No. 2 Yarlet – Top Farm, Whitgreave, Stafford, a property declared surplus to requirements.

 

RESOLVED: That the property be sold to Mark Buxton and Esther Simmons of Acton Trussell, Stafford in accordance with their offer.

 

25.

Site of Former Pear Tree Primary School, Rugeley (exemption paragraph 3)

Minutes:

The Sub-Committee considered an offer received for the site of the former Pear Tree Primary School, Rugeley and the net proceeds which the County Council could expect to receive after fulfilling funding commitments given to Cannock Chase District Council under previously agreed land transactions, towards the provision of leisure and sporting  facilities in the area.

 

RESOLVED – That the site be sold to Jessup Builders Limited in accordance with their offer and there be further discussion on the disbursement of the two tranches of £250,000 towards the cost of leisure and sporting facilities in the area, as agreed with Cannock Chase District Council; any final contributions to be subject to no later claim being lodged on a portion of the proceeds of any future sale of the Nursery Fields Primary School site should such sale be deemed appropriate.
